CITY LEVEL PROGRAMME OF ACTION (CLPOA) for Street and Working Children is a Networking Body working for the cause of deprived children in partnership with NGOs and with support from Govt. of India, Govt. of West Bengal, Kolkata and West Bengal Police, Kolkata Municipal Corporation, UNICEF and Corporate Houses. CLPOA has so far established partnership with 300 NGOs throughout the state of West Bengal and in other parts of India. CLPOAs main focus is on children upto the age of 18 years as proclaimed in the CRC document of the UN.
